Mr. Cassidy spent his collegiate years studying colonial literature and later on in life spent a commensurate period of time studying the history of money and the evolution of the current dollar-centric global financial system.

Margaret Anne and the Redemption Series serve as something of a rather loose metaphor for Mr. Cassidy’s lifelong journey towards establishing a lasting relationship with God.  Mr. Cassidy leverages his understanding of the primary tenets of the European colonization of the indigenous world and the truth behind the dollar’s rise and predestined appointment with debilitating hyperinflation to bring his characters and his story to life.

The primary message of Mr. Cassidy’s novels, Maragret Anne, which serves as the prelude to the Redemption Series, and the four books in the Redemption Series is that all things are possible through faith and devoted love for God.

Angel Ascending: Redemption Book I is the first book in Mr. Cassidy’s four-book Redemption Series.

Angel Ascending is followed by Convergence, Reckoning, and Watchword.

Watchword completes the story of Margaret Anne and the Redemption Series.  The final novel in the Calhoun Family saga was released on December 12, 2023.
